Raymond Kelley
Raymond "Ray" Kelley is an American cellist and record producer. He is one of the cellists on '' The Simpsons: Testify'' and '' Family Guy: Live in Vegas'', and Grammy Award winning ''Jonathan Livingston Seagull'' soundtrack album. Since 1956, he has performed classical music for six years in the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, then five years with the Los Angeles Philharmonic orchestra until 1968. Kelley was a part of a Hollywood session musician group named the Abnuceals Emuukha Electric Symphony Orchestra from 1959 to 1974. He has played cello on many major recording artists' albums over the years. In 1988, he founded his own record label, Resort Music, Inc. Contemporary classical music is classical music composed close to the present day. The Mothers Of Invention
The Mothers of Invention (also known as The Mothers) was an American rock band from California. Formed in 1964, their work is marked by the use of sonic experimentation, innovative album art, and elaborate live shows. Originally an R&B band called the Soul Giants, the band's first lineup included Ray Collins, David Coronado, Ray Hunt, Roy Estrada, and Jimmy Carl Black. Frank Zappa was asked to take over as the guitarist following a fight between Collins and Coronado, the band's original saxophonist/leader. Zappa insisted that they perform his original material, and on Mother's Day in 1965, changed their name to the Mothers. Record executives demanded that the name be changed, and so "out of necessity," Zappa later said, "we became the Mothers of Invention." AllMusic (previously known as All-Music Guide and AMG) is an American online music database. It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands. Initiated in 1991, the database was first made available on the Internet in 1994. AllMusic is owned by RhythmOne. Stanley Clarke (born June 30, 1951) is an American bassist, film composer and founding member of Return to Forever, one of the first jazz fusion bands. Clarke gave the bass guitar a prominence it lacked in jazz-related music. He is the first jazz-fusion bassist to headline tours, sell out shows worldwide and have recordings reach gold status. Clarke is a 5-time Grammy winner, with 15 nominations, 3 as a solo artist, 1 with the Stanley Clarke Band, and 1 with Return to Forever. Earth, Wind & Fire (EW&F or EWF) is an American band whose music spans the genres of jazz, R&B, soul, funk, disco, pop, big band, Latin, and Afro pop. ''Faces'' is the tenth studio album by the American band Earth, Wind & Fire released on October 14, 1980, on ARC/Columbia Records. The album reached number 10 on the ''Billboard'' Top LPs chart, number 2 on the ''Billboard'' Top Soul albums chart and number 10 on the UK Albums Chart. ''Faces'' was certified Gold in the US by the RIAA. Overview ''Faces'' was partly recorded in the Caribbean island of Montserrat and produced by EWF leader Maurice White. Paul Hamilton Williams Jr. (born September 19, 1940) is an American composer, singer, songwriter and actor.
