Raymond C. Eubanks Jr.
Raymond C. Eubanks Jr. (December 18, 1933 – March 23, 2022) was an American politician. He served as a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives. Life and career Eubanks was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He attended Spartanburg High School, Wofford College and the University of South Carolina School of Law. He served in the United States Air Force. In 1965, Eubanks was elected to the South Carolina House of Representatives, representing Spartanburg County, South Carolina. He then ran for the senate in 1968 but lost to Paul M. Moore. Richard Riley
Richard Wilson Riley (born January 2, 1933) is an American politician who served as the sixth United States secretary of education from 1993 to 2001 under President Bill Clinton and as the 111th governor of South Carolina from 1979 to 1987. He is a member of the Democratic Party. Riley is the only Democrat to serve two consecutive terms as governor in the time since the state constitution was amended to allow governors to serve consecutive terms.
