Iran's counties (, Romanization, romanized as ''šahrestân'') are administrative divisions of larger Provinces of Iran, provinces (''ostan''). Among the provinces of Iran, Fars province, Fars has the highest number of ''shahrestans'' (37), while Qom province, Qom has the fewest (3).
