Ravex In Tezuka World
''Ravex in Tezuka World'' is a 2009 18-minute anime short film by Japanese band Ravex. It was featured in the album '' Trax'', celebrating the 20th anniversary of Avex as well as the 80th birthday of Osamu Tezuka. Plot As "another story" set after the end of the original manga, the plot starts after Astro is found on an asteroid after his final act to save Earth (shown in the 1960s anime). The robot boy is rescued by the three members of Ravex, and he is miraculously revived by " Space Jack". The newly revived robot is named " Ratom" - built by combining Rock with Astro, and equipped with the power of music. Professor Ochanomizu works with Space Jack to create the newly evolved Ratom. Osamu Tezuka's Star System
is the name given to the recurring characters in manga created by manga artist Osamu Tezuka. Throughout his career, Tezuka frequently re-used the same character designs or names in different roles across his series; for example, the character Shunsaku Ban appears as a detective in ''Metropolis'' and as Astro Boy's teacher in ''Astro Boy''. The name alludes to the Hollywood practice of the star system, and can be seen as analogous to film directors who work with the same actors across multiple films; Tezuka joked about how much his characters were paid, and occasionally based them on famous western actors. ''Princess Knight'', also known as ''Ribon no Kishi'', is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Osamu Tezuka. This manga follows the adventures of Sapphire, a girl who was born accidentally with a blue heart of a boy and a pink heart of a girl. She pretends to be a prince to prevent the evil Duke Duralumin from taking over the kingdom through his son, Plastic. The gender-bending main character was inspired by the all-female musical theater group Takarazuka Revue in which women performed both female and male roles. The story was ordered by an editor of Kodansha's magazine '' Shōjo Club'' who wanted Tezuka to produce a manga aimed towards a female audience that could replicate the success of his former boy-aimed stories. Monkey Majik (stylised as MONKEY MAJIK) is a Japanese pop rock band formed in 2000 in Sendai, Japan. is a Japanese singer, lyricist, and former actress. Born and raised in Edogawa, Tokyo, Goto began her musical career in 1999 when she joined Morning Musume as the only third generation member. is a magical girl manga and anime by Osamu Tezuka. This series centered on Melmo, a nine-year-old girl whose mother is killed in an auto accident and has to then take care of her two younger brothers (Totoo and Touch). While in Heaven, the children's mother is given one wish. Her wish is that Melmo (the oldest out of her 3 children) will be allowed to grow up more quickly than usual, since their lives as children will be difficult without their parents. Melmo's mother is permitted to visit her as a ghost, and gives Melmo a bottle of candy given to her by God. The blue candy turns Melmo into a lovely 19-year-old version of herself, while the red candy turns her back into a child. Unico
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Osamu Tezuka. It was serialized in Sanrio's manga magazine ' from November 1976 to March 1979 and collected in two volumes. The series follows the titular unicorn as he uses his magic to help friends from around the world across different time periods. The series was drawn in a western style, being published in full color and read from left to right. It has since been published in different collections and has been adapted into film and comics.
