Raven Barber
Raven Barber (born 2 October 1991) is an American professional basketball player for União Corinthians of the Novo Basquete Brasil. He has experience playing with multiple teams in Europe, and was named Rookie of the Year in his initial season with the Halifax Rainmen in the National Basketball League of Canada (NBL). Barber played four years of college basketball with Mount St. Mary's after graduating from Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax, Virginia. On March 1, 2022, Barber signed with U.D. Oliveirense. The Liga Portuguesa de Basquetebol (), also known as Liga Betclic for sponsorship reasons, is the top men's professional club basketball league in Portugal. History From the 2008–09 season onward, the competition has been again organised by the Federação Portuguesa de Basquetebol (Portuguese Basketball Federation) after not having been for 13 seasons. This was caused by the fold of the LPB after many years of financial problems, with the league now being a semi-professional league. 2013–14 NBL Canada Season
The 2013–14 NBL Canada season was the third season of the National Basketball League of Canada. The regular season began on November 1, 2013. The regular season ended on Friday, February 28, 2014, and the playoffs began on Sunday, March 2, 2014 and ended on Thursday, April 17, 2014 with the Windsor Express defeating the Island Storm in seven games to win the 2014 NBLC Finals. Offseason Following the conclusion of the 2012-13 NBL Canada season, the Oshawa Power relocated to Mississauga, Ontario, and were renamed the Mississauga Power. The 2013–14 NBL Canada season also featured expansion to two new locations: Ottawa, and Brampton. During preseason, another team announced its relocation, the Summerside Storm moving to Charlottetown, PEI. It was announced that the Storm name would be retained.
