Rattlebone Inn, Sherston - Geograph
Rattlebone was an American punk/hard rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, United States, in 1992. The group was signed by label president Peter Paterno at Hollywood Records that same year. They recorded two albums with veteran producer Dave Jerden, who has also worked with bands such as Jane's Addiction, Alice in Chains, and The Offspring. Only an initial, self-titled EP was released to the public. The band started as The Drills out of Florida before that group relocated to Los Angeles and eventually was renamed. The solidified Rattlebone lineup signed to Hollywood Records included Roger Deering on vocals and bass, Kerry Furlong on drums, Jeff Muendel on Hammond organ, and Brendon McNichol on guitar. Rattlebone toured the United States extensively from 1992 to 1995, including opening slots for Motörhead and Blue Öyster Cult. During this period, the group was managed by Don Arden. Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a Music genre, genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States. Brendon McNichol (born November 1969) is an American multi-instrumentalist, best known as a member of Queens of the Stone Age and Masters of Reality. He has also contributed to recordings by the Desert Sessions, played with artists and bands such as K.C. and the Sunshine Band, Stacey Q., Pablo Moses, Michigan and Smiley, Charlie Chaplan, Drone with Ted Parsons, Levi Chen, Photek, Discordia, the Dwarves, Palmerville, and appeared on multiple soundtracks, commercials and albums as a session player. Don Arden
Don Arden (born Harry Levy; 4 January 1926 – 21 July 2007) was an English music manager, agent, and businessman. He managed the careers of rock acts such as Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Gene Vincent, Air Supply, Small Faces, The Move, Black Sabbath, Electric Light Orchestra, and Trickster. Arden gained a reputation in Britain for his aggressive, sometimes illegal business tactics which led to him being called "Mr Big", the "English Godfather" and the "Al Capone of Pop". His success story turned sour when his violent 'negotiating' methods and questionable accounting caught up with him, and he became estranged from members of his own family. Blue Öyster Cult ( ; sometimes abbreviated BÖC or BOC) is an American rock band formed on Long Island, New York, in the hamlet of Stony Brook, in 1967.
