Rashon Burno
Rashon Burno (born February 3, 1978) is an American basketball coach (basketball), coach who is the head coach of the Northern Illinois Huskies men's basketball team. Playing career Burno played at St. Anthony High School (New Jersey), St. Anthony High School in New Jersey under Bob Hurley, where he was a part of two national championship teams his junior and senior years. He played collegiately at DePaul Blue Demons men's basketball, DePaul under Pat Kennedy and was part of the Blue Demons' 2000 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, 2000 NCAA tournament squad. Coaching career Burno got his coaching start as the head basketball coach at Marmion Academy from 2007 to 2010 where he also served as an economics and physical education teacher before landing his first college coaching job as an assistant at Towson Tigers men's basketball, Towson, reuniting with his college head coach Kennedy. Mark Montgomery (basketball)
Mark Allen Montgomery (born April 1, 1970) is an American college basketball head coach for the Detroit Mercy Titans. He previously was the head men's basketball coach at Northern Illinois University. Montgomery replaced Ricardo Patton as head coach of the Huskies on March 24, 2011. Prior to being named the head coach at NIU, he was an assistant to head coach Tom Izzo at Michigan State for 10 seasons, the last four as associate head coach. The Spartans reached the NCAA tournament in each of Montgomery's 10 seasons on the staff, including three Final Four appearances and a trip to the title game in 2009. Playing career Montgomery was a four-year letter winner at Michigan State from 1988 to 1992 where he also served as captain. Upon completion of his college career, he held the school record for games played at Michigan State (126). He was an All-Big Ten Third Team selection in 1992.
