H. H. Maharani Sahib Raseshwari Rajya Laxmi is a former queen of Jaisalmer. She is the widow of Maharawal Brijraj Singh, Maharawal of Jaisalmer. She has two sons, Maharajkumar Chaitanya Raj Singh Bhati (born 24 December 1993) and Maharajkumar Janmajeya Singh Bhati (born 19 December 2000). Bhati is a clan of Rajputs History The Bhatis reportedly originated in Mathura through a common ancestor named Bhati, who was a descendant of Pradyumn. According to the seventeenth-century Nainsi ri Khyat, the Bhatis after losing Mathura moved to Bhatner in Lakhi Jungle, and from there to other locations in western and northwestern India including Punjab. Jaisalmer had a dynasty with a successful line of rulers and this became their center. Jaisalmer , nicknamed "The Golden city", is a city in the Indian state of Rajasthan, located west of the state capital Jaipur. The Kingdom of Jaisalmer was a Bhati Rajput kingdom in the far-western part of present-day Rajasthan, India, from the mid-12th century CE until 1947. In 1156 CE, Rawal Jaisal moved his capital from Ludarva to Jaisalmer because the former was vulnerable to attacks from Turko-Afghan and Baloch tribes.
