Randall William Burke (born May 26, 1955) is an American former professional football player who played wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for five seasons from 1977 to 1981. Burke played college football at the University of Kentucky before he was drafted in the first round of the 1977 NFL Draft as the 26th overall selection by the Baltimore Colts. Early life Randy Burke was born on May 26, 1955, in Miami, Florida. He attended Southwest Miami Senior High School in Olympia Heights, Florida where he played football and ran track. Southwest went 0-9-1 in Burke's senior season, leaving Burke with little hope to receive a college football scholarship. Bertram Hays Jones (born September 7, 1951) is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Baltimore Colts and Los Angeles Rams. At Ruston High School in Ruston, Louisiana, he was given the nickname, "The Ruston Rifle." Jones played college football at Louisiana State University (LSU). Steven Richard Little (February 19, 1956 – September 6, 1999) was an American football kicker and punter in the National Football League for the St. Louis Cardinals. He is the third-highest drafted kicker in NFL history, behind Charlie Gogolak (6th, 1966) of Princeton and Russell Erxleben (11th, 1979) of Texas. Little was drafted higher than future NFL greats Ozzie Newsome and Todd Christensen. Little was an All-American placekicker and punter during his years at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. 1977 Baltimore Colts Season
The 1977 Baltimore Colts season was the 25th season for the team in the National Football League (NFL). Led by third-year head coach Ted Marchibroda, the Colts finished with 10 wins and 4 losses, tied for first in the AFC East division with the Miami Dolphins. The Colts had the tiebreaker over Miami based on better conference record (9–3 to 8–4), and the Dolphins missed the playoffs. This was the final playoff appearance for the Colts as a Baltimore-based franchise (their next came ten years later in 1987, by which time the team moved to Indianapolis). Baltimore's next playoff team was the Ravens in 2000, winners of Super Bowl XXXV.
