The Haryana Legislative Assembly (ISO: ''Hariyāṇā Vidhāna Sabhā'') is the unicameral legislature of the Indian state of Haryana. The seating of the assembly is at Chandigarh, the capital of the state. There are seats in the house filled by direct election using a single-member first-past-the-post voting system. Nalwa Assembly constituency in Hisar district is one of the 90 Vidhan Sabha constituencies of Haryana state in northern India. History Nalwa became a new Assembly constituency of Legislative Assembly of Haryana in the state of Haryana in the 2008 delimitation exercise. Earlier, most of the villages of this constituency were under Adampur, a stronghold of Bhajan Lal. Some of the villages were earlier with the Bawani Khera Constituency. Ranbir Singh Gangwa Prajapati (born 4 March 1964) is an Indian politician. He was a member of Rajya Sabha from Indian National Lok Dal party from 2010 to 2014. He was elected as a member of Haryana Legislative Assembly in 2014 after beating sitting MLA and then minister Sampat Singh and Jasma Devi w/o former chief minister Bhajan Lal. Then he won in 2019 from Nalwa Chaudhry (Vidhan Sabha constituency) in Hisar (city) and in 2024 from Barwala Assembly constituency. 2024 Haryana Legislative Assembly Election
The 2024 Haryana Legislative Assembly elections were held in Elections in Haryana, Haryana on 2024 elections in India, 5 October 2024 to elect all List of constituencies of the Haryana Legislative Assembly, 90 members of the Haryana Legislative Assembly. The schedule of the election was announced by the Election Commission of India on 16 August 2024. The ballots were counted and the results were declared on 8 October 2024.
