Rana Shamim Ahmed Khan
Rana Shamim Ahmed Khan (; born 6 July 1942) is a Pakistani politician who had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from August 2018 till August 2023. Previously he was member of the National Assembly from June 2013 to May 2018 and a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from 1985 to 1996. He is current chairman of Standing Committee for Kashmir affairs and Gilgit Baltistan. Early life Shamim was born on 6 July 1942 to father Rana Muhammad Chiragh, and hails from Sialkot. Political career He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from Constituency PP-145 (Sialkot) in the 1985 Pakistani general election. The High Court of Sindh () ( Sindhi: سنڌ ھائي ڪورٽ) is the highest judicial institution of the Pakistani province of Sindh. Established in 1906, the Court situated in the provincial capital at Karachi. Supreme Appellate Court Gilgit-Baltistan
The Supreme Appellate Court Gilgit-Baltistan is the highest court of appeal in the region of Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan. It consists of a chief justice and two other judges. The court was established in 2009 under Gilgit-Baltistan (Empowerment and Self Governance Order) 2009 and has the similar jurisdiction equal to the Supreme Court of Pakistan. The Permanent Seat of the Court is at Gilgit, but the court also sits from time to time at Skardu Branch Registry. The appointment of the chairmen and members on 27 September 2005, marked the beginning of the court's operations. Due to changes made to the Northern Areas Governance order of 1994, the court's nomenclature was changed on 15 December to Northern Areas Supreme Appellate Court.
