Ran Harnevo ( he, רן הר נבו; born 1975) is an Israeli entrepreneur, content creator, and social and political activist. Former combat navigator pilot and founder of the "Yalla Tikva" content team as part of the protest against the 37th government of Israel. Biography Harnevo was born in Neve Monosson in 1975. He studied at Mikif Yehud High School. He served as a combat navigator in the Air Force and was an instructor at the flight school and commander of a navigation course. He studied for a bachelor's degree in philosophy and computer science and at the same time wrote articles on the "Bama Hadasha" website. He left before finishing his degree to work as a journalist and editor of a local newspaper, "Tel Aviv". TikTok, known in China as Douyin (), is a short-form video hosting service owned by the Chinese company ByteDance. It hosts user-submitted videos, which can range in duration from 15 seconds to 10 minutes. TikTok is an international version of Douyin, which was released in the Chinese market in September 2016. It launched in 2017 for iOS and Android in most markets outside of mainland China; however, it became available worldwide only after merging with another Chinese social media service, Musical.ly, on 2 August 2018.
