Covadonga (Asturian language, Asturian: ''Cuadonga'', from ''cova domnica'' "Cave of Our Lady") is one of 11 Parroquia (Spain), parishes in Cangas de Onís, a municipality within the province and autonomous communities of Spain, autonomous community of Asturias, in Northwestern Spain. It is situated in the Picos de Europa mountains. Oviedo () or Uviéu (Asturian language, Asturian: ) is the capital city of the Principality of Asturias in northern Spain and the administrative and commercial centre of the region.
