Ramón Juárez Del Castillo (born 9 May 2001) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Liga MX club América and the Mexico national team. Club career América Juárez made his professional debut for Liga MX club América on 27 August 2019 in the Apertura 2019 against Pachuca. He came on as a substitute. International career Youth Juárez participated at the 2022 Maurice Revello Tournament, scoring one goal in all five matches, attaining third place at the tournament. Senior Juárez received his first call-up to the senior national team in October 2023, for two friendly matches against Ghana on 14 October, and Germany on 17 October 2023. Rioverde is a city and its surrounding municipality located in the south-central part of the state of San Luis Potosí, Mexico. It is the fifth-most populated city in the state, behind San Luis Potosí, Soledad de Graciano Sánchez, Ciudad Valles, and Matehuala. The 2024 Supercopa de la Liga MX was an official Mexican football match that took place on 30 June 2024. The match was the second edition of the Supercopa de la Liga MX, contested by the 2023 Campeón de Campeones and the 2024 Campeón de Campeones. This cup featured América, the 2024 champion, and UANL, the 2023 champion. The match took place at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, which normally hosts the Campeón de Campeones. Like the Campeón de Campeones, this cup was contested at a neutral venue in the United States. The Campeones Cup is an annual North American association football match contested between the winners of the previous MLS Cup from Major League Soccer and the winners of the Campeón de Campeones from Liga MX. The competition was established by the two leagues in 2018. Format The Campeones Cup is contested by the winner of the MLS Cup, held annually in November or December, to decide the winner of the Major League Soccer season, and the Campeón de Campeones, held annually in July between the winners of the Apertura and Clausura tournaments in Liga MX.
