Ramzan Rizwan
On 11 June 2014, 59-year-old Muhammad Noor, a Pakistani tissue paper seller, was murdered by his two compatriots Rasheed Muhammad (43 years old) and Ramzan Rizwan (25 years old), who both smothered him to death and robbed him of S$6,000, after they lost their own money to Muhammad over a game of cards. Afterwards, Muhammad's corpse was dismembered by the two men using a saw, and his severed legs were packed in a luggage while his upper body was kept in another luggage. The second luggage containing Muhammad's legless body was later found abandoned at a roadside by an 81-year-old man and this discovery was reported to the police, who swiftly arrested the pair for their crime the day after Muhammad's murder. The first luggage containing the severed legs were later found at a Muslim cemetery in Jalan Kubor. Choo Han Teck
Choo Han Teck (born 21 February 1954) is a Singaporean judge of the Supreme Court. He was formerly a lawyer before his appointment to the court as a judge. It was revealed in 2021 that Choo was one of the defence lawyers representing Adrian Lim, the Toa Payoh child killer who was executed in 1988 for charges of murdering a girl and boy as ritual sacrifices. He was first appointed Judicial Commissioner in 1995, and later appointed High Court Judge in January 2003. Choo was appointed President of the Military Court of Appeal of the Singapore Armed Forces in November 2004. Past court cases heard by Choo Oriental Hotel murder Choo Han Teck, who then became Judicial Commissioner, heard the case of Abdul Nasir Amer Hamsah, who was accused of murdering a Japanese tourist named Fujii Isae during a robbery. Murder Of Quek Lee Eng
On 9 May 1974, at the Upper Perak Road house of her sister-in-law, 53-year-old Quek Lee Eng (郭丽英 Guō Lìyīng; also spelt Kwek Lee Eng), alias Quek Sock Khing (郭叔卿 Guō Shūqīng), was strangled by her 44-year-old sister-in-law Sim Joo Keow (沈如娇 Shěn Rújiāo) for a monetary dispute, before Sim dismembered Quek's corpse into multiple parts and abandoned them in various parts of Singapore, including two earthen jars at her own home. The death of Quek was uncovered with the discovery of her legs in a mosque's toilet on Aljunied Road, and the additional sighting of blood flowing out of the earthen jars at Sim's house (where Sim hid the victim's torso) caused Sim to be arrested and charged with murder. Sim was eventually convicted of manslaughter and causing the disappearance of evidence, and thus sentenced to ten years in jail on 27 January 1975. ''Crimewatch'' (formerly ''Crimewatch UK'') is a British television programme produced by the BBC, that reconstructs major unsolved crimes in order to gain information from the public which may assist in solving the case. The programme was originally broadcast once a month on BBC One, although in the final years before cancellation it was usually broadcast roughly once every two months. ''Crimewatch'' was first broadcast on 7 June 1984, and is based on the German TV show '' Aktenzeichen XY… ungelöst'' (which translates as ''File Reference XY … Unsolved'').
