Ramsiya Bharti (born 1 April 1986) is an Indian politician from Madhya Pradesh, India. She was elected to the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly winning the 2023 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, 2023 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election from Malhara Assembly constituency, Malhara Assembly Constituency in Chhatarpur district. She represents Indian National Congress. Early life and education Bharti was born in Bamni Ghaat, Bada Malhera, Bada Malehra. At a young age of 7 years, she started giving Pravacana, Pravachana. She completed her higher secondary education from Bada Malehra. Career Bharti began her political journey with the Indian National Congress in 2015. She was elected to the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 2023 from Malhara Assembly Constituency. She defeated Pradyuman Singh Lodhi of Bharatiya Janata Party by a margin of 21,532 votes. Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly
The Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha or the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly is the unicameral state legislature of Madhya Pradesh state in India. The seat of the Vidhan Sabha is at Bhopal, the capital of the state. It is housed in the ''Vidhan Bhavan'', an imposing building located at the center of the Capital Complex in the Arera Hill locality of Bhopal city. 2020 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly By-elections
By-elections for twenty eight state assembly constituencies were held in Madhya Pradesh on 3 November 2020. Background In March 2020, Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia, along with 22 Congress MLAs, defected to the BJP. This resulted in the toppling of the Kamal Nath ministry and the ascendancy of Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led BJP government. By 23 July 2020, another 3 Congress MLAs ( Pradyuman Singh Lodhi (of Malhara), Sumitra Devi Kasdekar (of Nepanagar) and Narayan Patel (of Mandhata)) had resigned to join the BJP. In addition, 3 seats ( Joura, Agar and Biaora) became vacant due to the deaths of their respective sitting MLAs. The elections were scheduled to be held on or before September 2020, but got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
