The Loyalty Islands blind snake (''Ramphotyphlops willeyi'') is a species of snake in the family Typhlopidae. McDiarmid RW, Campbell JA, Touré T (1999). Habitat The preferred natural habitat of ''R. willeyi'' is unknown, but the species is known to occur at an elevation of . George Albert Boulenger (19 October 1858 – 23 November 1937) was a Belgian-British zoologist who described and gave scientific names to over 2,000 new animal species, chiefly fish, reptiles, and amphibians. Boulenger was also an active botanist during the last 30 years of his life, especially in the study of roses. Life Boulenger was born in Brussels, Belgium, the only son of Gustave Boulenger, a Belgian public notary, and Juliette Piérart, from Valenciennes. Arthur Willey FRS (9 October 1867, Scarborough, North Yorkshire – 26 December 1942) was a British-Canadian zoologist. After education at Kingswood School, Bath, he matriculated in 1887 at University College London and graduated there with B.Sc. in 1890. After returning from the Marine Station (Stazione Zoologica), Naples, he became a fellow at University College London. From 1892 to 1894 he was a biological tutor at Columbia University. From 1894 to 1899 he held the Balfour Studentship of Cambridge, during which he went to the East Indies to investigate the embryology of the pearly nautilus.
