Ramona Victoria Strugariu
Ramona Strugariu (born 6 August 1979) is a Romanian politician of REPER and previous member of USR PLUS/ USR who has served as a Member of the European Parliament since 2019. Political career In parliament, Strugariu has been serving on the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs. In this capacity, she has been serving as rapporteur on the European Media Freedom Act since 2023. In addition to her committee assignments, Strugariu is part of the parliament's delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly. She is also a member of the European Parliament Intergroup on Anti-Corruption; the European Parliament Intergroup on LGBT Rights; and the MEPs Against Cancer group. REPER
Renewing Romania's European Project (, REPER) is a political party in Romania. It is a splinter of the Save Romania Union (USR) and is currently led by acting president Camelia Sălcudean. The party was founded in May 2022, in opposition to USR's leadership under Cătălin Drulă. The party is mostly associated with former technocratic Prime Minister and former USR president Dacian Cioloș, who founded the party. On 7 May 2023, Pîslaru and Strugariu were voted co-presidents at the latest congress of the party. Euronest Parliamentary Assembly
The EuroNest Parliamentary Assembly is the inter-parliamentary forum in which members of the European Parliament and the national parliaments of Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia participate and forge closer political and economic ties with the European Union. It was established in 2011 by the European Commission as a component of the Eastern Partnership. After the elections in Belarus in 2010 were declared as flawed by the OSCE, the membership of Belarus in Euronest was automatically suspended. Belarus is welcome to re-join the Assembly once political requirements have been fulfilled. In 2015, Azerbaijan's membership was suspended due to the European Union's criticism of human rights abuses by the government. Immigration detention in the United Kingdom is the practice of indefinite detention of both foreign national asylum seekers/refugees and immigrants in Immigration detention, purpose-built detention centres for the purpose of immigration control.
