Ramin Hossein-Panahi
Ramin Hossein-Panahi ( fa, رامین حسینپناهی ,1995 – 8 September 2018) was an Iranian peoples, Iranian Kurdish man who was sentenced to death by the Iranian government for taking up arms against Iranian security forces in what Amnesty International alleged a "grossly unfair trial" marred by "serious torture allegations". He was executed on September 8, 2018. Ramin Hossein Panahi, who had twice been arrested in the mid-2000s, was accused of carrying out acts of sabotage in Iran in 2014 on behalf of the Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan, an armed Kurdish opposition group which is blacklisted as a terrorist group by Tehran. In mid-June 2017, according to Iranian security, he was tasked with infiltrating Iran in order to carry out a terrorist attack during International Quds Day rallies in the same month. UN High Commissioner For Human Rights
The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, commonly known as the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) or the United Nations Human Rights Office, is a department of the Secretariat of the United Nations that works to promote and protect human rights that are guaranteed under international law and stipulated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948. Zaniar Moradi
Zaniar Moradi ( fa, زانیار مرادی, 1987 – 8 September 2018) was a Kurd political prisoner from Marivan, Iran who was detained in 2009 along with his cousin Loghman Moradi. They were both executed on 8 September 2018 on the charge of killing the son of the Imam of Marivan's Friday prayers imam. Amnesty International has said that the men had been denied access to legal counsel after being arrested. After their sentences were issued, they wrote in a letter that they were forced to confess under duress and torture and that they had not played a part in the assassination. Moradi maintained that for nine months after his initial arrest, authorities had detained him for membership of the Komala Party. Loghman Moradi
Loghman Moradi ( fa, لقمان مرادی, 1983 – September 8, 2018) was a Kurd. He was arrested in 2009 along with his cousin Zaniar Moradi. They were both hanged on September 8, 2018 on charges of killing the son of Marivan's imam. After they were sentenced to death, they announced that they were forced under torture to confess to the killing and had not played a part in the assassination. Incarceration Moradi was arrested by security forces in the town of Marivan in Kurdistan, Iran on August 2, 2009, along with his cousin Zaniar. He has been detained in the Sanandaj Intelligence Agency for nine months where he was “under severe physical and psychological torture.” Family visits were banned from 2009 until 2013.
