Menissa Rambally
Menissa Rambally (born 1976) is a Saint Lucian politician who represented the Castries South East constituency for the Saint Lucia Labour Party, until she was defeated in the general election of 11 December 2006. She was appointed Permanent Representative for Saint Lucia to the United Nations in 2012. She was the Minister of Culture in the government of the Saint Lucia Labour Party. Rambally was the youngest candidate and the youngest MP in the country's history, entering parliament at 21 years of age. She is of Indian, African and European ancestry. She is a graduate of the Leon Hess Comprehensive School and a Business Graduate of Caribbean Union College, an affiliate of Andrews University, Michigan. Dinesh Rambally
Pandit Dinesh Rambally is a Trinidadian and Tobagonian politician, attorney, and Hindu priest from the United National Congress and an executive member of the Sanatan Dharma Maha Sabha. He represented Chaguanas West in the House of Representatives from 2020 until 2025. He is of Indo-Trinidadian descent. He intended to stand again at the 2025 Trinidad and Tobago general election. He later withdrew his candidacy. He was highly critical of his party leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar. He cited "divisive racial rhetoric" in his party for his decision. He endorsed the People's National Movement (PNM) of Stuart Young. Jeannine Compton-Antoine is a Saint Lucian politician who represented the Micoud North constituency in the House of Assembly from 2007 to 2011. She won the seat for the United Workers Party in a 2007 by-election. Compton-Antoine resigned from the United Workers Party in 2011, and continued to serve as an independent MP. She lost the seat in the 2011 general election. In July 2012, she was selected to be chair of the International Whaling Commission.
