Ramayan (2002)
''Ramayan'' is a Hindi language, Hindi TV series that was aired on Zee TV in 2001. It is a television adaptation of the ancient Indian epic of Ramayana, the same name, and is primarily based on Valmiki's ''Ramayana,'' Tulsidas Ramcharitmanas, ''Ramcharitramanas'', Kalidasa, Kalidasa's ''Raghuvaṃśa'' and Kambar (poet), Kambar's Ramavataram, Kambh Ramayana. It was produced and directed by Baldev Raj Chopra and Ravi Chopra. The scripting for the series was done by Ram Govind and Research was done by Satish Bhatnagar, Hasan Kamal and Shafiq Ansari. Dharam Chopra was the Director of Photography. Each episode started with a title song sung by Vinod Rathod and ended with a doha or couplet sung by Manoj Mishra and written by Maya Govind. ZEE TV also known as Z TV is an Indian Hindi language general entertainment pay television channel owned by Zee Entertainment Enterprises. It was launched on 1 October 1992 as the oldest privately owned television channel in India. History In 1991, Li Ka-shing started his STAR satellite television network. At the end of the year, Subhash Chandra of the Essel Group finished a round of negotiations with HutchVision, after a series of rejections, and the condition that Chandra would pay US$5 million a year for the satellite transponder. Li signed the deal in India a few months later and approached interested companies, but nobody was interested in paying the transponder fees. Vinod Rathod
Vinod Rathod (born 12 September 1962) is an Indian playback singer and dubbing voice actor who primarily sings in Hindi language films. Rathod is the son of late classical musician, Pandit Chaturbhuj Rathod. Music career His career started when Usha Khanna after listening to his voice in a cassette called him in April 1986, to sing a qawwali, "Mere Dil Main Hai Andhera, Koi Shamma To Jala De" in Do Yaar. Mohammed Aziz was his co-singer. Vinod recorded no less than 40 songs for the composer, and also sang for composers like Ajay Swami and Surinder Kohli in his struggle phase. Meghnad
Meghanada (, ), also referred to by his epithet Indrajit (), according to Hindu texts, was the eldest son of Ravana and the crown prince of Lanka, who conquered Indraloka (Heaven). Rambola Dubey (; 11 August 1511 – 30 July 1623pp. 23–34.), popularly known as Goswami Tulsidas (), was a Vaishnava ( Ramanandi) Hindu saint and poet, renowned for his devotion to the deity Rama. He wrote several popular works in Sanskrit, Awadhi, and Braj Bhasha, but is best known as the author of the ''Hanuman Chalisa'' and of the epic ''Ramcharitmanas'', a retelling of the Sanskrit ''Ramayana'', based on Rama's life, in the vernacular Awadhi language.
