Dr. Ramalinga Reddy is an Indian politician who is the current working president of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee from February 2021. He was Minister of State for Home Affairs from 2 September 2017 to 17 May 2018 and Minister of Transport of Karnataka from 18 May 2013 to 2 September 2017. Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala (born 23 January 1937) is an Indian statesman who was the 18th Governor of Karnataka from 1 September 2014 to 6 July 2021. He is also the longest serving Governor for Karnataka after Khurshed Alam Khan. Vajubhai served as the Speaker of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly from 2012 to 2014. He is still a member of Bharatiya Janata Party. He served as a Cabinet Minister in the Government of Gujarat, holding various portfolios, such as finance, labour and employment, from 1997 to 2012.
