Makkan Singh Raj Thakur (born 1971) is an Indian politician from Telangana state. He is an MLA from Ramagundam Assembly constituency in Peddapalli district. He represents Indian National Congress and won the 2023 Telangana Legislative Assembly election. Early life and education Thakur is from Ramagundam, Peddapalli district. His father is Kishan Singh. He studied until class 12, and passed his Secondary School Certificate in 1983 at Zilla Parishad High School, Ramagundam. The 2018 Telangana Legislative Assembly election was held on 7 December 2018 which marked the second electoral event since the Telangana movement, state's formation in 2014. 2023 Telangana Legislative Assembly Election
The 2023 Telangana Legislative Assembly election was held on 2023 elections in India, 30 November 2023 to elect all List of constituencies of the Telangana Legislative Assembly, 119 members of Telangana Legislative Assembly for its third term. The votes were counted and the results were declared on 3 December 2023. The 2014 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election took place on 30 April and 7 May 2014 to elect members to the legislatures of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
