R.V. Shahi is the Chairman of Energy Infratech Private Limited. He previously served as the Secretary to the Government of India in the Ministry of Power and formerly the Chairman and Managing Director of Bombay Suburban Electric Supply Limited. SJVN, formerly known as Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam, is an Indian public sector undertaking involved in hydroelectric power generation and transmission.
