Ram Rampage
The Ram Rampage is a unibody pickup truck produced by Stellantis in Brazil and marketed through the American Ram marque. Introduced in June 2023, it is the first Ram-branded vehicle to be produced in Brazil. According to Ram, the name 'Rampage' is taken from the English word, meaning "agitation, noise, uproar, fury". The name was also reused from the 1980s Dodge Rampage coupe utility. Overview The Rampage is built on the Small Wide global platform shared with the Jeep Compass, Jeep Commander, and Fiat Toro. It is the largest model that uses the platform and received 60 percent of new components on the platform alone, in addition to the bodywork. Ram claimed that 86 percent of high- and ultra-strength steels are used in the Rampage. Ram Trucks, stylized as RAM and formerly known as the Ram Truck Division (of Chrysler), is an American brand of light to mid-weight trucks and other commercial vehicles, and a division of Stellantis (previously Fiat Chrysler Automobiles). It was established in a spin-off from Dodge in 2010 using the name of the Ram Pickup line of trucks. Ram Trucks' logo was originally used as Dodge's logo. Multijet is Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' term for its current common rail direct injection turbodiesel engine range. Most of the Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia range as well as certain Chrysler, RAM Trucks, Jeep and Maserati vehicles are equipped with Multijet engines. Ownership of some Fiat Multijet designs is shared with General Motors as part of a settlement of the failed merger between the two auto conglomerates. The Jeep Wrangler (JL) is the fourth generation of the Wrangler off-road vehicle, available in two- and four-door bodies. The Dodge Rampage was a subcompact, unibody coupe utility based on Chrysler's L platform and manufactured from 1982 to 1984. First released as a 1982 model, the Rampage was later joined for 1983 by its rebadged variant, the Plymouth Scamp.
