''Rakipsiz'' (''Unrivaled'') is the tenth studio album by Turkish singer Demet Akalın. It was released on 7 November 2016 by Doğan Music Company. A music video for the album's lead single "Hayalet" was also released on the same day. The album ranked first on D&R's Best-Selling list in Turkey. Background For her previous album ''Pırlanta'', which was released in June 2015, Akalın made six different music videos. To collect new songs for this album Akalın worked with the likes of Sinan Akçıl and Volga Tamöz. To mark the anniversary of the 20th year of her career, she published the album's name and cover on her social media accounts. The photographs for ''Rakipsiz'' were taken by Müjdat Kupsi. During the album's preparation process Akalın continued to share sections of the songs on social media, and the album's final teaser was released by the production company DMC on YouTube, one night before its eventual distribution. Demet Akalın
Demet Akalın (born 23 April 1972) is a Turkish singer and former model. Due to the popular songs she has released since the middle of the 2000s, she has become one of the most recognizable names of Turkish pop music. Akalın, who was born in Gölcük, Kocaeli, initially decided to pursue a career in modeling and started working as a model for Neşe Erberk's agency. She also acted in a number of motion picture films and television series in the 1990s. Simultaneously with modeling, she started singing in the casinos, and released her first studio album, ''Sebebim'' in 1996 which was not successful. ''Pırlanta'' (''Diamond'') is the ninth studio album by Turkish singer Demet Akalın. It was released on 19 June 2015 by Doğan Music Company. It was Demet Akalın's first album to be released by this production company. Its lead single "Ders Olsun" ranked second on Turkey's official music chart, and the album itself became the best-selling album in Turkey in 2015. Music videos The album's lead single "Ders Olsun" was written and composed by Sinan Akçıl and arranged by Volga Tamöz. Its music video was directed by Müjdat Küpşi. The second music video was prepared for the song "Gölge" under Müjdat Küpşi's direction and was shot in Bodrum over the course of three days. ''Ateş'' (''Fire'') is the eleventh studio album by Turkish singer Demet Akalın. It was released on 18 April 2019 by Doğan Music Company. The album was among Turkey's best-selling albums of 2019 and received a gold certification from DMC. Background and design Demet Akalın first announced her plans for releasing a new album during her concert at the Bostancı Show Center on 27 October 2018. Akalın's photographs for the album were taken by Erman İştahlı and its cover was designed by Ahmet Terzioğlu. Gülşen (singer)
Gülşen Çolakoğlu (née Bayraktar, ; born 29 May 1976) is a Turkish singer-songwriter. Born and raised in Istanbul, she graduated from Şehremini High School. After finishing high school, Gülşen enrolled in Istanbul Technical University and at the same time began performing at bars and later left the university. In 1995, while performing at a bar, she was discovered by a composer and contracted with Raks Müzik for her first studio album. Gülşen's debut album, ''Be Adam'', was released in 1996, which made her known in the music industry, but she preferred to take a break from her professional career and instead focused on her marital life. Mehmet Ali Erbil
Mehmet Ali Erbil (born 8 February 1957) is a Turkish comedian, actor and talk show host of Kurdish descent. Biography Mehmet Ali was born in Istanbul, Turkey, as the son of Sadettin Erbil, a theatre and film actor, in 1957. He is the grandson of Mehmed Efendi and the great-grandson of Mehmed Esad Erbilî. He completed his primary and secondary education in Istanbul, Ankara and Balıkesir. In 1970, he enrolled in the Theatre Department of State Conservatory in Ankara. Having graduated, he started his acting career in Ankara State Theatre. Afterwards, he moved to Istanbul and continued his career in musical films. In 1984, he first started his television career in a programme he hosted together with Derya Baykal and Çiğdem Tunç. He currently suffers from a rare disease called capillary leak syndrome. His TV show '' Çarkıfelek'' (Turkey's version of '' Wheel of Fortune'') was cancelled on 6 October 2010 due to Erbil's derogatory reference to Alevis.

Özge Ulusoy (born October 28, 1982) is a Turkish model, retired ballet dancer, and occasional film actress.
