The Odisha cricket team (known as Orissa until 2011) is a domestic cricket team based in the Indian state of Odisha. It is in the elite group of the Ranji Trophy. Its main home ground is Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. The 2020–21 Vijay Hazare Trophy was the 28th edition of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, an annual List A cricket tournament in India. The tournament took place from 20 February to 14 March 2021. Karnataka cricket team, Karnataka were the defending champions. In January 2021, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced that the tournament would take place after the 2020–21 Ranji Trophy was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 38 teams were split into six groups, with six teams in Groups A to E and eight teams in the Plate Group.
