Rakesh Mohanty
Rakesh Mohanty (born 19 September 1985) is an Indian cricketer. He played 19 first-class and 19 List A matches between 2004 and 2014. He played for the Odisha under-16 team. Mohanty was also part of India's squad for the 2002 Under-19 Cricket World Cup The 2002 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was played in New Zealand from 19 January to 9 February 2002. Cuttack
Cuttack (, or officially Kataka in Odia language, Odia ), is the former capital, deputy capital and the 2nd largest city of the Indian state of Odisha. It is also the headquarters of the Cuttack district. The name of the city is an anglicised form of the Odia language, Odia and Sanskrit name ''Kataka'', which literally means ''the fort'', a reference to the ancient Barabati Fort around which the city initially developed. First-class Cricket
First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is of three or more days scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. The etymology of "first-class cricket" is unknown, but the term was used loosely before it acquired official status in 1895, following a meeting of leading English clubs. List A cricket is a classification of the limited-overs (one-day) form of the sport of cricket, with games lasting up to eight hours. List A cricket includes One Day International (ODI) matches and various domestic competitions in which the number of overs in an innings per team ranges from forty to sixty, most commonly fifty overs, as well as some international matches involving nations who have not achieved official ODI status. The 2002 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was played in New Zealand from 19 January to 9 February 2002.
