Rajiv Rishyakaran
Rajiv Rishyakaran ( Jawi: ; Tamil: ரஜிவ் ரிஷ்யகரன்) (born 12 October 1981) is a Malaysian politician who has served as Member of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Bukit Gasing since May 2013. He is a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. His precedecessor as Bukit Gasing MLA is the latEdward Lee Poh Linwhose untimely death in 2011 left the seat vacant for two years before the 2013 Selangor state election. Personal background and education Rajiv Rishyakaran was born on 12 October 1981, at Hospital Universiti, Kuala Lumpur. Rajiv is the eldest of five (5) brothers. His father, Rishyakaran Karthigasu (1949-) is a retired Ministry of Health officer whilst his mother, Rajini Chandrapal (1953-) retired from teaching to be a homemaker. Klang Valley ( ms, Lembah Klang; zh, 巴生谷; ) is an urban conglomeration in Malaysia that is centered in the federal territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, and includes its adjoining cities and towns in the state of Selangor. The Election Commission of Malaysia ( ms, Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya Malaysia), abbreviated SPR or EC, is a commission set up for ensuring fair and equitable operations in undertaking the elections in Malaysia. 2004 Malaysian General Election
A general election was held on Sunday, 21 March 2004 for members of the 11th Parliament of Malaysia. Voting took place in all 219 parliamentary constituencies of Malaysia, each electing one Member of Parliament to the Dewan Rakyat, the dominant house of Parliament. 2018 Malaysian General Election
The 2018 Malaysian General Election, formally known as the 14th Malaysian General Election (), was held on Wednesday, 9 May 2018, for members of the 14th Parliament of Malaysia. At stake were all 222 seats in the Dewan Rakyat (the legislature's lower house) and 505 seats in 12 out of the 13 state legislative assemblies of Malaysia. 2013 Malaysian General Election
General elections were held in Malaysia on Sunday, 5 May 2013 to elect the members of the 13th Parliament. Voting took place in all 222 parliamentary constituencies, each electing one MP to the Dewan Rakyat, the dominant house of Parliament. State elections also took place in 505 state constituencies in 12 of the 13 states (excluding Sarawak) on the same day. The elections were the first since Najib Razak became Prime Minister in 2009. Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ; Malay: ''Majlis Bandaraya Subang Jaya'') is the city council which is in charge of the Subang Jaya city and the southern parts of Petaling district.
