Rajesh Kumar (IPS)
Rajesh Kumar (born 26 January 1966) is an officer of the Indian Police Service (IPS) and a former Commissioner of Police, Kolkata. He is currently the Member-Secretary of the West Bengal Pollution Control Board (WBPCB). Early life and education Rajesh was born on 26 January 1966, as the second child of Shyam Sunder Surolia and Draupadi Devi Surolia in the village of Mukundgarh, Jhunjhunu district, Rajasthan, India. He completed his schooling from the local school before moving with his family to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, in the 1970s to pursue his further studies. He completed his Masters in Commerce from the University of Rajasthan in the 1980s before writing the examinations to become a Chartered Accountant. Anuj Sharma (born 27 March 1968)) is an officer of the Indian Police Service. He was the 40th and 42nd Commissioner of Police, Kolkata, having served from 19 February to 5 April 2019 and from 26 May 2019 to 7 February 2021. Prof. Saugata Roy (born 6 August 1946) is an Indian politician of Trinamool Congress and a member of parliament in the Lok Sabha of the Indian Parliament representing the Dum Dum constituency in the 16th Lok Sabha. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) is the civil service training institution in India.
