Rajasthan Forest Service
The Rajasthan Forest Service (RFS) is one of the state services of the Government of Rajasthan, the prominent two being the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) and the Rajasthan Police Service (RPS). The officers of Rajasthan Forest Service are governed by the provisions of The Rajasthan Forest Service Rules, 1962. shall not be interchangeable with each other and will be eligible for promotion in each wing separately. Posts RFS officers start service as Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) (Hindi: सहायक वन संरक्षक) and Forest Range Officer (FRO) (Hindi: वन रेंज अधिकारी) in training period. Rajasthan Administrative Service
Rajasthan Administrative Service, popularly known as RAS, is a state civil service of state Rajasthan along with Rajasthan Accounts Service, Rajasthan Police Service and other services. The officers are included in the state cadre of civil service officers. RAS officers undergo two years training at HCM Rajasthan State Institute of Public Administration.Cadre controlling authority for this service is Department of Personnel, Government of Rajasthan. Rajasthan Public Service Commission
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is a body with authority under the Constitution of India to select applicants for appointment to civil service jobs in the Indian state of Rajasthan according to the merits of the applicants and the rules of reservation. It advises the government of Rajasthan on all matters relating to the rules orecruitment appointment, transfer, promotion, professional standards and disciplinary action of civil servants. In this capacity, the commission organizes recruitment procedures, competitive examinations and screening tests, and candidate interview boards for the appointment of officers to civil service and civil posts within the state.
