Rajani Kanta Barman
Rajani Kanta Barman (; born 12 May 1976) is a retired Bangladeshi international footballer who played as a defender for Muktijoddha Sangsad KS. He is former Bangladesh national football team player and has a total of 61 appearances during his 13 yearlong international career. He is seen as one of the finest centre backs Bangladesh has produced. Club career Rajani started his football career with Agrani Bank Ltd. SC in 1994 and later joined Muktijoddha Sangsad KS in 1999. He spent most of his career with Muktijoddha Sangsad KS, with a total of 12 years with the club, during which he had a 2-year spell with Dhaka Abahani before moving to Mohammedan permanently. He retired during the 2013-2014 season while playing for Sheikh Russel KC. International career Rajani represented the national team during the 1999 SAFF Cup. Gazipur
Gazipur () is a city in central Bangladesh. Located in Gazipur District in Dhaka Division, it is a major industrial city north of Dhaka. 2003 South Asian Football Federation Gold Cup
The 2003 SAFF Gold Cup was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh between 10 January 2003 and 20 January 2003. All matches were played at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. Originally scheduled to be held between 26 January 2002 and 5 February 2002, the tournament was postponed due to the suspension of Bangladesh Football Federation by FIFA. Afghanistan were not in the draw, but were included in the tournament following an AFC recommendation to do so. It was also Bhutan's first tournament. The final was contested by Bangladesh and the Maldives. Ali Umar had levelled in the second half after Kanchan had given Bangladesh the lead. The match went to penalties and Asraf Lufty had missed from the spot for the Maldives. Federation Cup, also known as Bangladesh Federation Cup or simply Fed Cup , is Bangladesh's premier cup competition in men's association football. The competition started in 1980 and is run by the Bangladesh Football Federation which is responsible for all types of competitive matches in the country. Bangladesh Super Cup
Super Cup is the highest-budgeted football competition organized by the Bangladesh Football Federation and is one of the two club football season cups in Bangladesh, the other being Federation Cup. History The competition kicked off for the first time on Wednesday, 11 March 2009 inaugurated by Citycell's Chief Executive Officer Michel Seamour and the Federation's president Kazi Salahuddin in which Mohammedan Sporting Club became the first champion beating arch-rival Abahani Limited.
