"Rain" () is a song by South Korean singers Soyou and Baekhyun, members of K-pop groups Sistar and EXO, respectively. It was released on February 14, 2017, by Starship Entertainment. Background and release On February 6, 2017, Soyou and Baekhyun were announced by Starship Entertainment to be collaborating on a duet titled "Rain". The song reflects the melancholic feelings of nostalgia that accompanies the rain after a relationship comes to an end. Soyou
Kang Ji-hyun (born February 12, 1992), known professionally as Soyou, is a South Korean singer. She is best known as a former member of the South Korean girl group Sistar. Early life and education Soyou was born on February 12, 1992, in Jeju Island, South Korea. Before debuting, she was a licensed hairdresser and worked in a hair salon. Soyou was known as a Cube Entertainment trainee, who was originally supposed to debut as a member of 4Minute. Soyou has said that she didn't make it into the group because she was lacking in many ways and was originally supposed to be in Kwon So-hyun, Sohyun's place. YinYueTai (), is a music video sharing website in China. Launched in 2009, the site became China's most visited music video website by 2015. As of December 2019, YinYueTai is rumored to have been closed down. The website first published charts ranking the popularity of music videos in 2010, and, in 2016, ''Billboard (magazine), Billboard'' partnered with YinYueTai to publish the China V Chart on its website. Beginning in 2013, YinYueTai hosted the annual V Chart Awards, which honored musical artists from across Asia.
