Raimondas Žutautas
Raimondas Žutautas (born 4 September 1972) is a former Lithuanian footballer and current head coach. Zutautas played as a defensive midfielder. In 1999 Zutautas signed with Israeli club Maccabi Haifa F.C. and played there between the years 1999–2003. He won two championships with Maccabi Haifa and qualified to the UEFA Champions League group stage. Zutautas is considered one of the best defensive midfielders to ever play in the Israeli Premier League. Zutautas is the only Lithuanian player to score two goals in the UEFA Champions League. In 2002, while playing for Maccabi Haifa, he scored against Manchester United. His second goal was scored a year later against Rangers while playing for Panathinaikos. Klaipėda ( ; ) is a city in Lithuania on the Baltic Sea coast. The Greek Football Cup (), commonly known as the Greek Cup or Betsson Greek Cup for sponsorship reasons is a Greek football competition, run by the Hellenic Football Federation. The Greek Cup is the second-most important domestic men's football event, after the championship of Super League. 2001–02 Israeli Premier League
The 2001–02 Israeli Premier League season saw Maccabi Haifa win their second consecutive title. It took place from the first match on 25 August 2001 to the final match on 18 May 2002. Two teams from Liga Leumit were promoted at the end of the previous season: Hapoel Be'er Sheva and Maccabi Kiryat Gat. The two teams relegated were Bnei Yehuda and Tzafririm Holon. The 2000–01 Israeli Premier League season had Maccabi Haifa win the title, while Bnei Yehuda and Tzafririm Holon were relegated. The regular season took place from the first match on 12 August 2000 to the final match on 22 April 2001. The table was then divided into two groups, the upper and lower, which had six teams each. Then each team played the other five in their group once. The second stage was held between 27 April 2001 and 26 May 2001. One team from Liga Leumit was promoted at the end of the previous season: Hapoel Tzafririm Holon. The three teams relegated were: Hapoel Kfar Saba, Maccabi Herzliya and Hapoel Jerusalem. The Israeli Premier League (, Ligat HaAl, ) is a professional association football league in Israel and the highest level of the Israeli football league system. The league is contested by 14 clubs, and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with its second division Liga Leumit. Seasons run from August to May, with teams playing between 33 and 36 matches each, totalling 240 matches in every season.
