Railways Cricket Team
Railways cricket team (also known as the Indian Railways) is a domestic cricket team in India representing Indian Railways. The team's home ground is East Coast Railway Stadium in Bhubaneswar and Karnail Singh Stadium in New Delhi. The team is run by the Railways Sports Promotion Board which fields the Railways cricket team in domestic cricket competitions in India such as the Ranji Trophy. Competition history For most of its history, the Indian Railways has met little success in the Ranji Trophy. However, in recent years since 2000, Railways have won the trophy twice and become runners-up one time. As Champions of the Ranji Trophy, they have played the Irani Trophy twice, emerging victorious on both occasions. Pratham Singh
Pratham Singh (born 31 August 1992) is an Indian Cricket, cricketer. He is a left-handed opening batter who plays for Railways cricket team, Railways in domestic cricket and was part of the Kolkata Knight Riders squad for the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League. He made his List A cricket, List A debut for Railways cricket team, Railways in the 2016–17 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 26 February 2017. He made his First-class cricket, first-class debut for Railways in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy on 9 November 2017. Sanjay Bapusaheb Bangar (born 11 October 1972) is an Indian cricket commentator and the head of cricket development of the IPL franchise Punjab Kings. He is a former Indian international cricketer. Murali Kartik
Murali Kartik (, born 11 September 1976) is a Cricket commentator and former Indian cricketer who sporadically represented the national team from 2000 to 2007. He was a slow left-arm orthodox bowler. He was not selected for international matches during his prime years due to the presence of Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh in the Indian squad. A left-handed batsman who had some success with the bat at first-class level with 21 half-centuries, Murli was not able to repeat such performances at international level. Budhi Kunderan
Budhisagar Krishnappa Kunderan (born Budhisagar Krishnappa Kunderam 2 October 1939 – 23 June 2006) was an Indian cricketer. He played as a wicket keeper for the most of his career, and was an exciting but unorthodox right-handed batsman who competed for international selection with contemporary Farokh Engineer. In his eighteen Tests between 1960 and 1967, he scored 981 runs with two centuries and a batting average of 32.70. With the gloves he took 23 catches and executed seven stumpings. Wills Trophy
The Wills Trophy, formally named the Wills One-Day Trophy and named after sponsor Wills of ITC Limited), was an Indian List A cricket tournament organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Established in the 1977–78 season, it was played to find the best limited overs side of the domestic season as only the Ranji Trophy had inter-zonal finals. The annual tournament was played between seven sides, the five zonal winners and two composite teams, Wills XI (named after the title sponsor) and Indian Board President XI. Till the 1992–93 season, the team finishing first in each Zone of the Ranji Trophy qualified to play this tournament.
