Rahis Nabi
Rahis Nabi ( ur, راہس نبی; born 15 April 1999) is a footballer who plays as a midfielder. Born in England, he represents Pakistan internationally. He is currently a free agent. Club career Nabi played youth football for West Bromwich Albion, and scored in a single youth game for Sunderland on 8 April 2017. In July 2017, after leaving West Brom, he signed a one-year deal at Burnley's development squad. Nabi later played at senior level for Alvechurch of the seventh tier Southern Football League Central Division. On July 27, 2021, Rahis signed for Redditch United. International career As a junior, he was a member of the England Under-17 squad. In May 2019, Nabi and his brother Samir were called up for Pakistan's 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Cambodia the following month. 2021–22 Southern Football League
The 2021–22 Southern Football League season is the 119th in the history of the Southern League since its establishment in 1894. The league has two Premier divisions (Central and South) at Step 3 of the National League System (NLS) and two Division One divisions (Central and South) at Step 4. These correspond to levels 7 and 8 of the English football league system. The allocations for Step 4 this season were announced by The Football Association (FA) on 17 May 2021. JW Hunt Cup
The JW Hunt Cup is an annual charity football competition for teams based in the West Midlands area of England. The defending champions are Lye Town, who defeated Boldmere St. Michaels 2–1 in the 2021–22 final. History The JW Hunt Cup was formed in 1926 to raise funds for the benefit of the local blind. It is named in memory of John William Hunt, a local businessman, keen supporter of charities and founder of the Chillington Tool Company. The inaugural winners at the end of the 1926–27 season were Short Heath United, beating Cannon Iron on 14 April 1927 at Molineux. Short Heath United are the joint most successful club in the competition alongside Goodyear F.C, with both clubs having won on four occasions. The 2019–20 Southern Football League season (known as the BetVictor Southern League, following a sponsorship deal with BetVictor) was the 117th in the history of the Southern League since its establishment in 1894. The 2018–19 season is the 116th in the history of the Southern League since its establishment in 1894. The league (known as Evo-Stik League Southern, following a sponsorship deal with Evo-Stik) has two Premier divisions (Central and South) at step 3 of the National League System (NLS) and two Division One divisions (Central and South) at step 4 of the NLS. This is the first season to consist of four divisions in the league, following a shakeup of the Southern, Isthmian, and Northern Premier Leagues divisions by geographical region.
