Rahid Amirguliyev
Rahid Amirguliyev ( az, Rahid Əmirquliyev, born on 1 September 1989) is a former Azerbaijani professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He is the most capped player in the history of Azerbaijan Premier League with over 450 caps. Career On 21 December 2015, Amirguliyev signed a 2.5-year contract with Qarabağ FK. On 24 May 2018, Qarabağ announced that Amirguliyev had been released by the club following the expiration of his contract. On 26 May 2018, Sabail FK announced the signing of Amirguliyev. On 23 June 2023, Amirguliyev announced his retirement from football. Qusar (city)
Qusar (also Gusar; az, Qusar, lez, Кцlар) is the capital of Qusar District, Azerbaijan. Qusar is located in the foothills of the Greater Caucasus, over the Qusarchay River, 35 kilometers southwest from Khudat railway station and about 180 km from Baku. Etymology According to the ''Oxford Concise Dictionary of World Place-Names'', the word literally means "man" and derives from Lezgian ''kus''. History Lermontov's visit In 1836, Mikhail Lermontov visited Qusar, where he met with scientist-philosopher Haji Ali-efendi. 2013–14 FK Khazar Lankaran Season
The Khazar Lankaran 2013-14 season is Khazar Lankaran's ninth Azerbaijan Premier League season. It is their first full season with John Toshack as manager. They started the season by competing in the 2013–14 UEFA Europa League, reaching the 2nd qualifying round, after defeating Sliema Wanderers, before losing 0-10 on aggregate to Maccabi Haifa. As runners up in the previous season Azerbaijan Cup, Khazar took part in the revamped Azerbaijan Supercup, emerging victorious against Neftchi Baku. They currently taking part in the 2013–14 Azerbaijan Cup and 2013–14 Azerbaijan Premier League. After a poor start to the season, in which Khazar only picked up 14 points from 14 games, Toshack resigned from his post following their 3-0 defeat to Baku on 22 November 2013. The Khazar Lankaran 2012–13 season is Khazar Lankaran's eighth Azerbaijan Premier League season. Khazar Lankaran finished in 8th place in the league, after competing in the Relegation Championship during the second half of the season. They also reached the final of the Azerbaijan Cup, eventually losing to Neftchi Baku on penalties after a 0–0 draw. They competed in the 2012–13 UEFA Europa League, getting knocked out by Lech Poznań of Poland at the second qualifying round stage having previously defeated Nõmme Kalju of Estonia, 4–2, in the first qualifying round. The Khazar Lankaran 2011–12 season was Khazar Lankaran's seventh Azerbaijan Premier League season. They finished second in the 2011–12 Azerbaijan Premier League, qualifying for the 2012–13 UEFA Europa League again. In the 2011–12 UEFA Europa League they entered, and were knocked out, at the Second Qualifying Round by Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel.
