Rahi Chakraborty
Rahi Chakraborty () is an Indian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and music producer. He shot to fame as the 1st runner up in MTV India's music show Mtv Rock On An alumnus of the Film and Television Institute of India of Pune his songs deal with teen angst, spirituality and political issues and he is best known for his compositions and vocal presence. In 2013, he studied and performed at A.R.Rahman's KM Music Conservatory, Chennai. Genre of compositions range from World Music, Electronica to Rock Music. He is currently a music programmer and arranger under ace Bollywood music composer Ram Sampath who also was his judge in the MTV show. Chakraborty joined Ram Sampath's production house in 2015. Zee Bangla is an Indian Bengali-language general entertainment pay television channel owned by Zee Entertainment Enterprises. Baul
The Baul () are a group of mystic minstrels of mixed elements of Sufism and Vaishnavism from different parts of Bangladesh and the neighboring Indian states of West Bengal, Tripura and Assam's Barak Valley and Meghalaya. Bauls constitute both a religious syncretism, syncretic religious sect of troubadours and a musical tradition. Bauls are a very heterogeneous group, with many sects, but their membership mainly consists of Vaishnavism, Vaishnava Hindus and Sufism, Sufi Muslims. They can often be identified by their distinctive clothes and musical instruments. Lalon, Lalon Shah is regarded as the most celebrated Baul saint in history. Although Bauls constitute only a small fraction of the Bengali population, their influence on the culture of Bengal is considerable. Jugni is an age-old narrative device used in Punjabi folk music. It is the traditional music of the Punjab region of the Indian subcontinent.
