Elio Ragni (5 December 1910 – 20 June 1998) was an Italian athlete who competed mainly in the 100 metres. Biography He competed for Italy in the Athletics at the 1936 Summer Olympics, 1936 Summer Olympics held in Berlin, Germany in the 4 x 100 metre relay where he won the silver medal with his team mates Orazio Mariani, Gianni Caldana and Tullio Gonnelli. Gerome Ragni (born Jerome Bernard Ragni; September 11, 1935 – July 10, 1991) was an American actor, singer, and songwriter, best known as one of the stars and co-writers of the 1967 musical '' Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical''. On June 18, 2009, he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Early life Born Jerome Bernard Ragni in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was one of ten children in a low-income Italian-American family. He attended suburban Scott Township High School, where he appeared in various school productions. He attended Georgetown University and The Catholic University of America. At Catholic, he discovered an interest in theater, and began studying acting with Philip Burton. Riccardo Ragni (born 23 June 1991) is an Italian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. Club career Ragni started his career at amateur side Mosciano, in Mosciano Sant'Angelo, Abruzzo region. In 2009, he joined the under-20 team of Abruzzese club Pescara but in January 2010 left Pescara without any appearance, for Chieti of Serie D. In 2010–11 Serie D season he was the member of Ebolitana. After seasons Ragni became a borderline member of the first team of Pescara, which Ragni wore no.76 shirt in pre-season 2011. On 6 August 2011 his employment contract was sold to Andria on a co-ownership deal for €70,000, but on 31 January 2012 returned to Pescara on a temporary deal and in August in a definitive deal for €37,500 fee, signing a 2-year contract. Ragni Piene (born 18 January 1947, Oslo) is a Norwegian mathematician, specializing in algebraic geometry, with particular interest in enumerative results and intersection theory. Education and career After a bachelor's degree from the University of Oslo in 1969 and a DEA from Université de Paris in 1970 Piene received a doctorate in mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1976, advised by Steven Kleiman. Her dissertation was titled ''Plücker Formulas''. She was appointed professor at the University of Oslo in 1987.
