Ragnhild Fredriksen
Ragnhild Fredriksen (September 29, 1882 – December 15, 1963) was a Norwegians, Norwegian stage actress. Family Ragnhild Fredriksen was born in Oslo, Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway, as the daughter of the police officer Carl Fredriksen (1847–1902) and Maren Gustava Gulliksen (1848–1924). She was the sister of the actress Hilda Fredriksen (1873–1945). She married the actor Ingolf Schanche in 1905 in Kristiania. Career Ragnhild Fredriksen debuted on February 2, 1902, at the Centralteatret, Central Theater in the play ''Ungdomsleg''. She was engaged at the Central Theater until 1903. She started performing at the Eldorado Cinema (Oslo), Fahlstrøm Theater when it opened on August 22, 1903. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. Ingolf Schanche
Ingolf Findregaard Schanche (13 June 1877 – 15 April 1954) was a Norwegian actor and theatre director. He spent most of his career at Nationaltheatret in Oslo, and was also the first artistic director at Det Nye Teater. Personal life Schanche was born in Bergen as the son of shipmaster Christian Fredrik Grøner Schanche (1847–1918) and Ida P. M. Larsen (1848–1896). He was a distant relative of postmaster Jens Schanche and Herman Garmann Schanche. He was married to actress Ragnhild Fredriksen (1882–1963) from July 1905. Career He made his stage début in 1897 at the Bergen theatre Den Nationale Scene in Peter Egge's play ''Stridsmænd'', and acted at Den Nationale Scene for two seasons. Hilda Fredriksen
Hilda Fredriksen (December 10, 1873 – June 30, 1945) was a Norwegian stage and film actress. Family Hilda Fredriksen was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway, as the daughter of the police officer Carl Fredriksen (1847–1902) and Maren Gustava Gulliksen (1848–1924). She was the sister of the actress Ragnhild Fredriksen (1882–1963), who married the actor Ingolf Schanche. Hilda Fredriksen was unmarried. Centralteatret ( en, Central Theater) is a theatre on Akersgata in the city centre of Oslo, Norway. Centralteatret was established by the husband and wife acting team of Johan Fahlstrøm and Alma Fahlstrøm in 1897. The theatre was especially known for a repertoire of the light genre including comedy, revues and operettas, but also classics (such as Ibsen) and new Norwegian drama. Eldorado Cinema (Oslo)
Eldorado Cinema was a multiplex (movie theater) located at Torggata 9 in Oslo sentrum. It had five theaters with 1000 seats, which broke down as 170, 140, 163, 168, and 370 seats in theaters 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, respectively. History In 1891 the half-acre plot at Torggata 9 was bought by a company, which constructed two buildings which were designed in the New Renaissance style by architect Harald Olsen. Along Torggata was a four-story building which contained business locations; inside was a courtyard with an area for shows and concerts with seats for 1600 people. In the summer of 1903, the inner building was leased to ''Fahlstrøms Theater''. Architect Bull designed a fan-shaped baldachin in glass over the door along Torggata, together with a glass roof over the theater building.
