Ragnarok (comics)
Ragnarok is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. A cyborg clone of the hero Thor, Ragnarok has a similar appearance and abilities but uses them in opposition to the established heroes. Publication history Ragnarok first appeared in ''Civil War'' #3 (July 2006) and was created by Mark Millar and Steve Mcniven. Ragnarok began appearing as a regular character in the ''Dark Avengers'' series, beginning with ''Dark Avengers'' #175. Fictional character biography When the real Thor was missing in action and presumed dead, Tony Stark took one of Thor's hairs, which he had retained from the first meeting of the Avengers. Michael Turner (comics)
Michael Layne Turner (April 21, 1971 – June 27, 2008) was an Americans, American comics artist known for his work on ''Witchblade'', ''Fathom (comics), Fathom'', ''Superman/Batman'', ''Soulfire (comics), Soulfire'', and various covers for DC Comics and Marvel Comics. He was also the president of the entertainment company Aspen Comics, Aspen MLT. Early life Michael Turner was born in Crossville, Tennessee on April 21, 1971. He was a student at the University of Tennessee, and graduated from the International Performing Arts Academy after which he moved to San Diego, California, where he developed an interest in comics. Career Turner was discovered by Marc Silvestri at a convention and hired by Silvestri's Top Cow Productions as an artist. Stark Industries, later also known as Stark International, Stark Innovations, Stark Enterprises and Stark Resilient, is a fictional multi-national conglomerate appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Frans Robert Bernstein, Stan Lee, and Jack Kirby, the company first appeared in ''Tales of Suspense'' #39 (April 1962). Stark Industries is depicted as being owned and run by businessman and namesake Tony Stark, who is also known as Iron Man, and was founded by Tony's father, Howard Stark, from whom he inherited the company. Dark Reign is a 2008 to 2009 comic book branding used by Marvel Comics. It deals with the aftermath of the "Secret Invasion" storyline, which resulted in a shift of power in the Marvel Universe toward Norman Osborn. The title refers to Osborn's rise to national power and the ramifications thereof. Joe Quesada, then-editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics, stated that "Dark Reign is not really an event, it's what's happening in the Marvel Universe."
