Rama
Rama (; , , ) is a major deity in Hinduism. He is worshipped as the seventh and one of the most popular avatars of Vishnu. In Rama-centric Hindu traditions, he is considered the Supreme Being. Raghuvirji (21 Mar 1812 - 9 Feb 1863), known to devotees as "Sanatan Dharma Dhurandar Acharya Maharaj Shree 1008 Raghuvirji Maharaj", was the first acharya of the LaxmiNarayan Dev Gadi of the ShriSwaminarayan Sampraday sect of Hinduism. Raghuvir Patel
Raghuvir Mothibhai Patel (born 1944) is a Kenyan former cricketer who played internationally for East Africa, including at the 1982 ICC Trophy. He played as a wicket-keeper. A regular player for Kenya in regional tournaments, Patel first played for East Africa in 1972, when he toured in England with the team. He played his one and only first-class match in January 1974, against a Marylebone Cricket Club team that was returning the tour. Raghuvir Singh Kadian (born 5 June 1944) is an Indian politician who served as the 14th speaker of the Haryana Legislative Assembly from 2006 to 2009. He is a former cabinet minister in the Government of Haryana between 1987 and 1990. He has been elected to the Haryana Legislative Assembly for seven terms between 1987 and 2024 from Beri, Haryana. Raghu Vira
Raghu Vira (30 December 1902 – 14 May 1963) was an Indian linguist, scholar, politician, and member of the Constituent Assembly. He was one of the editors of the critical edition of the Mahabharata which was compiled at the Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute, Pune. More specifically he was the editor of the fourth Book of the critical edition of the Mahabharata i.e. the ''Virataparvan''. He was a Hindu nationalist and served as Jana Sangh's President. The ''Raghuvira Gadyam'' (), also rendered the ''Mahavira Vaibhavam'', is a Sanskrit hymn written by the Hindu philosopher Vedanta Desika. Comprising 96 verses, the ''Raghuvira Gadyam'' extols Rama, an avatar of the deity Vishnu. The hymn describes various episodes of the epic ''Ramayana'', composed in the ''kathora-sukumara'' poetic style. Etymology ''Raghuvira'' is an epithet of Rama, literally meaning, "hero of the Raghu clan", and a ''gadyam'' is a form of prose used in Sanskrit literature. Description Vedanta Desika is regarded to have composed this work when he visited the Devanathaswamy Temple located at Tiruvahindrapuram.
