Rafi Saar
Rafi Saar ( he, רפי סער; born 25 September 1967) is the current mayor of Kfar Saba. Background Rafi Saar was born in and grew up in Kfar Saba. From 1982-1985, he attended the "Katznelson" high school in the city. In the army, Saar served in the Engineering Corps and later studied at Bar-Ilan University from which he received bachelor degrees in political science and sociology and a Master's degree in business management. Political activity Saar served as aide to former Kfar Saba mayor Itzhak Vald and later became General Manager of Kfar Saba Municipality. In 2008, he ran for head of regional council for Kochav Yair-Tzur Yigal but lost. He served as council member on the opposition. Kfar Saba ( he, כְּפַר סָבָא), officially Kefar Sava, is a city in the Sharon region, of the Central District of Israel. In 2019 it had a population of 110,456, making it the 16th-largest city in Israel. The population of Kfar Saba is nearly entirely Jewish. Kochav Yair
Kokhav Ya'ir–Tzur Yig'al ( he, כּוֹכַב יָאִיר-צוּר יִגְאָל, also Kochav Yair–Tzur Yigal) is a town ( local council) in the Central District of Israel. Kokhav Ya'ir and the neighboring town of Tzur Yig'al ( he, צוּר יִגְאָל) merged in November 2003. In it had a population of . History Kokhav Ya'ir was established in 1981 by 15 families living in temporary quarters. Two years later, work began on infrastructure for a permanent town. Hod HaSharon ( he, הוֹד הַשָּׁרוֹן, lit. "Splendor of the Sharon plain") is a city in the Central District of Israel.
