Rafał Wolsztyński
Rafał Wolsztyński (born 8 December 1994) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a forward for II liga club Sandecja Nowy Sącz. Early career Wolsztyński started playing football in the youth sector of Concordia Knurów. Club career In 2010 Wolsztyński signed for Górnik Zabrze after good performances at junior club level. He was loaned out on two occasions, first to Limanovia Limanowa in 2015, and later to Legionovia Legionowo in 2016. He made his Ekstraklasa debut with Górnik Zabrze in the 2017–18 season. In early 2019, he left the club and signed with Widzew Łódź in the third-tier II liga. On 20 August 2020 he signed a two-year contract with Arka Gdynia. On 12 August 2021, Wolsztyński signed with Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho (SJK) in Finnish top-tier Veikkausliiga. He left the club next June, and joined Chrobry Głogów in Polish second-tier I liga. Knurów
Knurów (; ) is a city near Katowice in Silesia, southern Poland. Knurów is an outer city of the Metropolis GZM, a metropolis with a population of two million. I liga (, ), currently named Betclic I liga due to its sponsorship by Betclic, is the men's second professional association football division of the Polish football league system, below the Ekstraklasa and above the II liga via promotion/relegation systems. The 2022–23 I liga (also known as Fortuna I liga due to sponsorship reasons) is the 75th season of the second tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1949 and the 15th season of the Polish I liga under its current title. The league is operated by the PZPN. The regular season is being played as a round-robin tournament. A total of 18 teams participate, 12 of which competed in the league campaign during the previous season, while three to be relegated from the 2021–22 Ekstraklasa and the remaining three to be promoted from the 2021–22 II liga. Finnish League Cup
The Finnish League Cup (in Finnish: ''Liigacup''), is a knock-out football competition contested annually during the pre-season in winter by teams from Veikkausliiga. The competition is notably the only football competition in Europe which is mostly played indoors. It is also administrated by Veikkausliiga History The competition was founded in 1994. The 2021 Veikkausliiga was the 91st season of top-tier football in Finland. HJK were the defending champions and successfully defended their title. Teams RoPS (relegated after eight years in the top flight) were relegated to Ykkönen after finishing at the bottom of the 2020 season. Their place was taken by Ykkönen champions AC Oulu (promoted after a ten-year absence). TPS (relegated after one year in the top flight) as 11th-placed team lost their Veikkausliiga spot after losing to second-placed Ykkönen team KTP (promoted after a five-year absence) in a relegation/promotion playoff. The 2020–21 I liga (currently named Fortuna I liga due to sponsorship reasons) was the 73rd season of the second tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1949 and the 13th season of the Polish I liga under its current title. The league was operated by the PZPN. The league was contested by 18 teams. The regular season was played in a round-robin tournament. The season started on 28 August 2020 and concluded on 13 June 2021 (regular season). Each team played a total of 34 matches, half at home and half away. After the 17th matchday the league went on a winter break between 14 December 2020 and 19 February 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 110 matches have been played with a limited number of spectators. The rest of the matches (until 17 October 2020 and on 16 May 2021) were played behind closed doors without any spectators. The 2019–20 II liga was the 72nd season of the third tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1948 and the 12th season of the Polish II liga under its current title. The league was operated by the PZPN. The league was contested by 18 teams. The regular season was played in a round-robin tournament. The season started on 27 July 2019 and concluded on 25 July 2020 (regular season). On 13 March 2020, the PZPN suspended the league due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. The 2016–17 I liga (currently named Nice I liga due to sponsorship reasons) was the 9th season of the Polish I liga under its current title, and the 69th season of the second highest division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1949. The league is operated by the Polish Football Association (PZPN). The league is contested by 18 teams. The regular season was played in a round-robin tournament. The season began on 29 July 2016, and concluded on 4 June 2017. After the 19th matchday the league will be on winter break between 28 November 2016 and 2 March 2017. 2015–16 Ekstraklasa
The 2015–16 Ekstraklasa was the 82nd season of the highest level of football leagues in Poland since its establishment in 1927. A total of 16 teams were participating, 14 of which competed in the league during the 2014–15 season, while the remaining two were promoted from the I Liga. Each team played a total of 37 matches, half at home and half away. Lech Poznań were the defending champions, having won their 7th title last season.
