Rafael Lucio is a municipality located in the montane central zone of the Mexican state of Veracruz, about 9 km from the state capital Xalapa. It has a surface of 24.68 km2. It is located at . By Decree of November 5, 1932 Rafael Lucio's municipality and the head-board is created they are named Rafael Lucio, in honor of the illustrious doctor of Xalapa. Geography The municipality of Rafael Lucio is delimited to the north by Tlacolulan and Jilotepec, to the southeast by Banderilla, to the south by Tlalnelhuayocan and to the west by Tres Valles. Xalapa
Xalapa or Jalapa (, ), officially Xalapa-Enríquez (), is the capital city of the Mexico, Mexican States of Mexico, state of Veracruz and the name of the surrounding municipality. Jilotepec (Nahuatl: "on the hill of jilotes") is a municipality in the Mexican state of Veracruz, located north-northwest of the state capital Xalapa. Tlalnelhuayocan is one of the 212 municipalities in the Mexican state of Veracruz, located 2 kilometres from state capital Xalapa-Enríquez. Tres Valles
Tres Valles (Three Valleys) is a town and municipality in the Mexican state of Veracruz, created as a free municipality by decree on November 25, 1988. It is located in the lower reaches of the Papaloapan, and borders the state of Oaxaca and the towns of Tierra Blanca and Cosamaloapan.
