Rafael Durán Martínez (born 20 August 1997) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Liga de Expansión MX team Atlante. Club career Tigres UANL Durán would make his professional debut during an Apertura 2017 Copa MX group stage match against Cruz Azul, coming in as a substitute at the 61st minute. The game tied 1–1. He would score his first goal with Tigres on 21 October 2018 in a league match against Club Universidad Nacional, scoring turning the score in favor of Tigres 2–1 but eventually tying 3–3. The Campeones Cup is an annual North American association football match contested between the winners of the previous MLS Cup from Major League Soccer and the winners of the Campeón de Campeones from Liga MX. The competition was established by the two leagues in 2018. Format The Campeones Cup is contested by the winner of the MLS Cup, held annually in November or December, to decide the winner of the Major League Soccer season, and the Campeón de Campeones, held annually in July between the winners of the Apertura and Clausura tournaments in Liga MX. If a Liga MX team wins both the Apertura and Clausura tournaments, then the team automatically wins the Campeón de Campeones and compete in the Campeones Cup.
