Rae Dawn Chong
Rae Dawn Chong (born February 28, 1961) is a Canadian-American actress. She made her big screen debut appearing in the 1978 musical drama film ''Stony Island (film), Stony Island'', and in 1981 starred in the fantasy film ''Quest for Fire (film), Quest for Fire'', for which she received Canadian Screen Award for Best Actress, the Genie Award for Best Actress. ''Cheech & Chong's The Corsican Brothers'' is a 1984 American film, the sixth feature-length film starring the comedy duo Cheech & Chong. The Genie Awards were given out annually by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television to recognize the best of Canadian cinema from 1980–2012. They succeeded the Canadian Film Awards (1949–1978), known as the "Etrog Awards" for sculptor Sorel Etrog, who designed its statuette.
