Career Apostolov made his senior debut for the club as a first-half substitute in a 3–1 home win over Cherno More Varna on 13 March 2016. During the second half he was fouled for a penalty kick, which Lachezar Baltanov scored. Apostolov was loaned to FC Levski Karlovo for the beginning of 2016-17 season. Lachezar Baltanov (; born 11 July 1988) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Botev Plovdiv, while being a captain of Botev Plovdiv II. Career Levski Sofia He raised through PFC Levski Sofia youth ranks and finally graduated to the first team. Baltanov later became a Champion of Bulgaria in 2009. Baltanov scored his first goal for Levski on 20 April 2010 in a match against Lokomotiv Mezdra. On 10 May 2011 was returned to Levski from Kaliakra through injury. He left the club from Sofia in early June 2012, when his contract had expired. Chernomorets Burgas Baltanov joined Chernomorets Burgas on 22 June 2012. 2017 Bulgarian Supercup
The 2017 Bulgarian Supercup was the 14th Bulgarian Supercup, an annual Bulgarian football match played between the winners of the previous season's First Professional Football League and Bulgarian Cup. The game was played between the champions of the 2016-17 First League, Ludogorets Razgrad, and the 2017 Bulgarian Cup winners, Botev Plovdiv. This was Ludogorets's fifth Bulgarian Supercup appearance and Botev's second. Both teams already competed against each other for the 2014 Supercup final which ended with a 3−1 victory for Ludogorets. The 2017 game ended 1−1 in regular time and after 5−4 on penalties Botev clinched their first Supercup win. 2016–17 Bulgarian Cup
The 2016−17 Bulgarian Cup was the 35th official edition of the Bulgarian annual football knockout tournament. The competition began on 20 September 2016 with the first round and finished with the final on 24 May 2017. CSKA Sofia were the defending champions, but lost in the first round to Lokomotiv Sofia. Botev Plovdiv won its third cup, after winning the final against Ludogorets Razgrad. Botev, thus, qualified for the first qualifying round of the 2017–18 UEFA Europa League. The 2015–16 A Group was the 92nd season of the top division of the Bulgarian football league system, and 68th since a league format was adopted for the national competition of A Group as a top tier of the pyramid. The season has started on 17 July 2015 and is expected to end in May 2016. The league is contested by ten teams. Ludogorets Razgrad were the defending champions, and successfully defended the title after Levski Sofia's home loss against Lokomotiv Plovdiv in the 29th round. The Bulgarian Supercup () is the trophy won in a football match held between the football club that has won the Bulgarian first football division in the season that ended in the year of the match and the holder of the Bulgarian Cup at that time. In case the champion of Bulgaria has also won the cup, the Bulgarian Cup finalist competes with the champion in the match for the trophy. The Bulgarian Cup () is a Bulgarian annual football competition. It is the country's main cup competition and all officially registered Bulgarian football teams take part in it. The tournament's format is ''single-elimination'', with all matches being one-legged, except the semi-finals. The competition's winner gets the right to take part in the UEFA Europa League. If the winner has already secured a place through the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group, the team that has come ''fourth'' in the championship substitutes it. The competition has been dominated by Sofia-based clubs. They have won together a total number of 65 titles.
