Serbian Cyrillic Alphabet
The Serbian Cyrillic alphabet (, ), also known as the Serbian script, (, ), is a standardized variation of the Cyrillic script used to write the Serbian language. It originated in medieval Serbia and was significantly reformed in the 19th century by the Serbian philologist and linguist Vuk Karadžić. The Serbian Cyrillic alphabet is one of the two official scripts used to write modern standard Serbian, the other being Gaj's Latin alphabet. Karadžić based his reform on the earlier 18th-century Slavonic-Serbian script. Following the principle of "write as you speak and read as it is written" (''piši kao što govoriš, čitaj kao što je napisano''), he removed obsolete letters, eliminated redundant representations of iotated vowels, and introduced the letter from the Latin script. Radivoj Berbakov (11 February 1925 – 1 November 2003) was a Serbian painter. He was born in Kikinda. He was studying painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade in class of professor Zora Petrović Zora Petrović (Dobrica, May 17, 1894 – Belgrade, May 25, 1962) was a Serbs, Serbian painter. Her notable works can be seen in the Museum of Contemporary Art, Belgrade, Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade, and in Pavle Beljanski Memorial Coll .... Radivoj Korać
Radivoj Korać ( sr-cyrl, Радивој Кораћ; 5 November 1938 – 2 June 1969) was a Yugoslav professional basketball player. He represented the Yugoslavia national basketball team internationally. Korać is well-known for holding the EuroLeague's all-time single-game scoring record (since 1958), at 99 points scored, in a game versus Alviks, during the 1964–65 season, and for once making 100 out of 100 free throws on a live television show in Belgium. Korać died in a car crash in 1969, at the age of 30, and FIBA Europe later established the European-wide third-tier level FIBA Radivoj Korać Cup, in his remembrance, in 1971. Korać was named one of FIBA's 50 Greatest Players in 1991. In 2002, the Basketball Federation of FR Yugoslavia named its top national domestic cup competition, the Radivoj Korać Cup, after him. Radivoj Lazić
Radivoj Lazić (Kikinda 1 August 1953) is a musician, clarinettist, pedagogue, composer, painter and children's writer. Biography Radivoj was born on 1 August 1953, in Kikinda (Banat, Voivodina). There he finished his elementary schooling followed by two years of high school and elementary studies of the clarinet. From 1971 to 1974 he attended the Music High school "Isidor Bajić" in Novi Sad with professor Mihajlo Kelbli. In 1974 he became a student of the Faculty of music in Belgrade with professor Bruno Brun, and graduated in 1979 with professor Milenko Stefanovic. Pedagogical work In 1978 he was appointed professor of clarinet at the Music school "Kosta Manojlović" in Zemun. His pupils won several first and special prizes at the competitions in Serbia (formerly Yugoslavia) and abroad.
