RTÉ DAB Multiplex
Digital Radio in the Republic of Ireland is broadcast on a number of digital terrestrial, cable and internet platforms. Until 31 March 2021, official broadcasts of the full complement of radio services of Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ) using the digital audio broadcasting standard were also available in the state. From April 2021 until the summer of 2024, unlicensed, low-powered DAB multiplexes operated in a small number of locations. Three Rock Mountain (; archaism, archaic: ''Sliabh Ruadh'') is a mountain in County Dublin, Ireland. It is high and forms part of the group of hills in the Dublin Mountains which comprises Two Rock, Three Rock, Kilmashogue and Tibradden Mountain, Tibradden mountains. Spirit Radio is an Irish Christian and religious radio station which began broadcasting in January 2011. It is licensed by the Coimisiún na Meán to broadcast to Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway, Waterford, Bray, Greystones, Dundalk, Naas, Athlone, Carlow, Kilkenny and Newbridge on FM. In July 2012, due to licence obligations, the station extended its coverage by opening a medium wave (AM) channel on 549 kHz. The 10 kW medium wave, 549 kHz transmitter is located in Carrickroe, County Monaghan. The station is in the process of expanding with FM transmitters earmarked for Clonmel, Killarney, Letterkenny and Navan, again using the multi-city licence. SPIN 1038 (or simply SPIN; pronounced "spin one-oh-three-eight") is a local radio station in Dublin, Ireland. It is owned by Bauer Media Audio Ireland and broadcasts on 103.8 FM under a sound broadcasting contract with the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland. SPIN 1038 is mostly heard in Dublin but can also be heard in such towns as Naas, Celbridge, Leixlip, Maynooth, Ashbourne, Dunboyne, Drogheda, Bray and Greystones due to their close proximity to Dublin. Radio Nova is a radio station licensed by Coimisiún na Meán, based in Dublin, Ireland. It was awarded its broadcasting licence by the BAI in September 2008 and launched on 1 September 2010.
